Renault and EDF plan a bidirectional charging offer in France
A partnership announced on 8 October targets deployment by summer 2027.
Renault Group and EDF announced cooperation aimed at private customers in single-family homes in France. The project combines an electric vehicle, charger installation by IZI by EDF and smart charging management. The partners also intend to enable electricity to flow back to the grid through V2G. Deployment is planned by summer 2027; the announcement confirms neither a Moroccan offer nor compatibility for every locally sold model.
