Seven-seat hybrid SUVs in Morocco: how to compare offers
Seven seats on paper are not enough: compare third-row access, luggage space and your charging options before choosing a family SUV.
Hybrid or plug-in hybrid?
The Peugeot 5008 Hybrid and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV illustrate two different approaches listed on Moroccan websites. The former does not plug in; the latter does. Start by noting where you could regularly charge. Consult their AtlasVolt catalogue records, then request the exact specifications of the offered version.
Test all seven seats with your belongings
During the test, seat your usual passengers and fit child seats, then check access, legroom and rear ventilation. Bring your stroller or measure your luggage. A quoted boot capacity with seats folded does not describe the space available when seven people travel. Ask for a seating demonstration before signing.
Compare the budget in MAD
Request two dated quotes showing trim, options, fees and delivery time. Add insurance, servicing and, for a plug-in, installation and energy. Do not automatically apply a homologated consumption figure to your route: enter your own assumptions in the calculator. The lowest price may not meet the needs of seven people travelling every day.
