Buying used: battery questions to ask
Low mileage is no substitute for a documented history. Prepare a list of questions before viewing.
Ask for documentation
Ask for service invoices, repair history and a recent battery diagnostic where available. Check that the documents match the vehicle. A battery-health figure only has meaning alongside its measurement method and date.
Try charging
During the viewing, ask for a charging demonstration and check supplied cables. For an imported car, confirm connector compatibility, usable connected services and a workshop able to support that exact version.
Confirm warranty coverage
Obtain warranty terms applicable in Morocco, its start date, time and mileage limits, and transfer conditions. Have the vehicle checked by an independent professional before committing.
