Renault expands LFP batteries across its electric range
The 6 October announcement comes ahead of the Paris show.
Renault has announced a gradual introduction of lithium iron phosphate batteries across its electric passenger cars. Following Twingo and Megane, the company names Scenic and Renault 5, with Renault 4 to follow. Its statement lists usable capacities of 27.5 kWh for Twingo, 37 kWh for Renault 5 and 67 kWh for Megane and Scenic. The announcement precedes its 12 October presentation in Paris; it confirms neither Moroccan pricing nor local availability for these versions.
