Morocco: electrified registrations gain ground in 2026

The September year-to-date report covers several technologies.

In its 2 October report, Le Brief cites AIVAM figures for January–September 2026: 29,522 electrified passenger-car registrations, representing 17.8% of the market versus 11.4% a year earlier. The total includes hybrids, plug-in hybrids, mild hybrids, battery-electric cars and range-extender models. Battery-electric cars alone account for 1,497 registrations. These figures describe new registrations during that period, rather than the composition of all cars already on the road.
