Kia EV5 in Morocco: price, range and charging checks
Price and range alone do not prepare you for buying a Kia EV5. Here is how to read the Moroccan specification sheet and ask useful questions about your journeys, parking and charging.

620 km: read the test cycle
The Moroccan page specifies that the quoted 620 km is urban WLTP range. Do not treat it as motorway or combined range. For your usual journey, request the relevant homologated figure and keep a charging reserve: speed, weather, load and air conditioning change driving conditions. Questions to ask about charging
For a regular journey between cities, identify possible stops and a backup before choosing a vehicle. Ask about the delivered version’s connectors, included cable and AC and DC charging limits. An advertised charging time is useful only when you know the starting and ending percentages, conditions and charger used. Also test payment on the network you expect to use.
EV5 or EV9: start with seating needs
The EV5 is listed with five seats, while Kia Morocco lists seven for the EV9: https://www.kia.ma/modeles/ev9/specificites . If you need a third row, try it with your passengers and luggage. For either model, measure your parking space and door-opening clearance. Then compare equivalent quotes rather than choosing solely by a range figure.
